Let's use INKS for blending on stamps!

Welcome back to the Monday Series, "Let's CASE it, Let's MAKE it!"
In this series, I choose a card from one of the Stampin' Up! Catalogs, and show you how to CASE (Copy And Share Everything!) it. Often times I add something here and there or change the colors, or even just something completely different than the CASE card to make it my own.
Feel free to CASE exactly or put your own twist on it.
The idea is to just be inspired and not to be afraid to dive in and see where the inspiration takes you.
Sometimes, I see a card I love, then as I'm creating it I find that the end result is completely different. Ideas come from everywhere and sometimes come to us as we are in the middle of creating. The more you CASE cards and practice, the sooner you will be coming up with ideas all on your own!

Here is the Step-By-Step Video Tutorial so you can play along with me.

Did that look super east? Well, IT IS!! I hope it inspired you.

Question: Are you going to try the Ink Bending or Babywipe technique on these flowers?

In other news...
Did you know there is a fun challenge happening right now on the blog?
One lucky person is even going to get a card in the mail from me!
You can see all the details HERE

Baby Wipe Technique with a TWIST?!?

My Inkie Fingers Card Sketch Inspiration
#MIF008

Inking with Baby wipes? What is this you speak of? Looks like fun, maybe I should try it, but with a twist or two? I love thinking of other ways to do things, and this is no exception! So I added in a couple cool techniques for you today! Don't forget to check out the #MIF008 Sketch on my blog today too! You can now easily upload your cards and play along.
ALSO!! I'm scouting for a Design Team for the sketches starting in April so get noticed now or fill out this form to be considered.

Anyhow, back to my card. I had so much fun making this card! I filmed the video live so you could experience what I experienced as ai created it, rather than doing a voice-over. It was so much fun!
You can watch it here:
Wasn't that fun? I have to make more of these types of cards. I just love doing things that are not the 'norm' or usual way of doing things.
QUESTION: W?hich card did you prefer? The blue or the pink?
Let me know in the comments below. I love hearing from you =)

Watercoloring with Stampin' Up! Reinkers!

Merci - An Elegant Thank You

First I want to start off by saying that making this card, although it took a while, was faster than putting together the video! lol I decided to start doing "Voice-Over" videos as the last video I posted was just WAY too long. So, I recently invested in a mic with a boom stand to record my voice-overs. It took me forever to figure out how to edit the audio. I have never recorded audio from an external source, and while I'm not new to the editing process, the editing audio process was an entirely new ball of wax. Not to mention trying to get everything I felt I needed to say into what I had already edited down. I'm not sure how other people edit and do voice-overs, but I figured it was best to edit up the content first, then do my voice-over. I think that is the right way to do it, but hey, what do I know?! haha
Hopefully, with time, I get better at the entire process =)

Anyhow, on to today's project. As a lover of water coloring, I wanted to challenge myself to start water coloring with our Stampin' Ink Refills. It really isn't as hard as I thought it would be. So I wanted to share the technique with all of you.

All the details and how I did it are in the video. Be sure to let me know what you think of my first attempt at doing a voice-over video! I sure love this method, as now I can craft and watch my favorite TV shows and Movies to help to create that soothing mood I enjoy so much while in my studio.

I hope you enjoy this card and the water coloring process. Let me know in the comments below what your thoughts are. I love hearing from you!
Happy Stampin'
