Let's CASE it, Let's MAKE it! Ep.1

New YouTube Series

There is another new series on my YouTube Channel! I'm so very excited to present you with "Let's CASE it, Let's MAKE it! Mondays. In this series, I will choose a card to CASE and walk you through it step-by-step. Don't worry, there will be plenty of extras! As usual, I will include my tips and tricks! There is something for everyone no matter your skill level. Subscribe so you don't miss out!

To kick off the new series this is the card I cased from the Current Mini Catalog

Isn't it pretty? Well ANYONE can make this card! No matter your skill level you can recreate anything! All you might need is the tutorial, direction, and maybe a little experience. Perhaps you are an intermediate level stamper. That's ok! You can spruce up the case even more and I promise to keep you interested and show you new things, tips & tricks. Just like I always have. Advanced stampers will even enjoy the series I'm sure *wink*

Card Sketch #6 - Poppin' Poppies #MIF006

Watercolored Backgrounds for Flowers

In my video, I totally forgot to mention that this card was made from the card sketch I designed for my Facebook Group Users (They get it a day or two before I post it anywhere else) but here it is just the same =)

For my card today, I decided to watercolor on some Canson XL Watercolor Paper (I will link the Stampin' Up! Watercolor below. I'm out of it, but it is great for creating backgrounds just like this one). It was a 6 step process. I added 4 layers of color, then 2 layers of "Splatter". I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. I may even spend an afternoon and make up a bunch to have on hand to use for flowers and leaves in the future.
