Olympic Torch Relay Mini CD Book

I have never made a CD Book/Album before. So this was fun, yet frustrating. I bought a crop-o-dile years ago, and NEVER used it before last night! I didn't even know HOW to use it. I had to call a friend and ask. So you see, nobody knows EVERYTHING, no matter how long they have been doing something =)

I used my Cricut to cut out all the pages and circles to fit exactly over the CD's. Then I just recut 2 holes on each CD and circle pages. Next time I make one I will do a tutorial but it is pretty simple. I didn't have a template or a visual of a CD book, so it was all basically out of my head.

Inkie Ingredients:
Karen Foster Stickers & Assorted Canadian Papers.
Bazzill Textured Red Cardstock
Conqueror White Cardstock
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Misc Ribbons
2 Key Chain Circles
2 Misc Snowflakes (that were actually Christmas decorations for the tree. I got them on clearance at a craft store one year)

Projects for this weekends Retreat!

As a local Instructor, I was asked to teach a couple projects at a retreat this weekend. I knew I wanted to do a card. So I choose to show how simple it is to incorporate a photo onto a card. As an avid stamper, I can assure you it takes much longer to stamp and image and color it to your liking. Those of you that Stamp know exactly what I am talking about. Placing a photo is a fun way to make a quicker card. Think of the possibilities... Snow pics for the Holidays, Spring pics for Spring or Easter. Take close up pictures of flowers with dew on them, your children, pets, or just about anything you can imagine! This one features my Pug, Gizmo.

Inkie Ingredients:BG Ambrosia Paper
Red & Grey Bazzill Textured Cardstock
Stampin' Up! Vanilla Cardstock
Prima Flowers
Stampin' Up! Flower Punch
Misc Ribbon

For the next project I wanted to create a mini album for 'Mom'. I cut the MOM pages out with my cricut with white cardstock. You can also use cardboard, or even better recycle and save those cereal boxes!! There are 6 pages in the book. 3 pages after the first 'M' and 3 more after the 'O'. I wanted to leave the sample pretty basic. That way the students can personalize their albums to their liking. I am sure I will soup it sometime soon, and have it to showcase.

Inkie Ingredients:
The album itself is aprox 5 3/4 X 7.
The pages are 5 1/2 X 5 and 5 1/2 X 4 1/2.
The MOM pages are all covered with patterned paper
BG Patterned Paper Ambrosia Line
Red, orange & grey Bazzill textured papers
Misc Prima flowers
Misc Ribbon & Brads

Another Set of Four!

If I could actually just focus on making cards today I am sure I would have made at least 24. But with chatting online, getting this blog going, linking it to my facebook. Getting North Bay Scrapbooking & Stamping up and online... there just isn't enough hours in the day!!

There are 4 of these cards, all with different images, but I couldn't fit 4 in the picture. Tomorrow I am headed over to Bev's to pick out the papers for the card project I am teaching on Friday night at the retreat. YAY! What fun. I will show you all what I come up with.

Nite Nite! XOXO

Easter Cards on the Production Line!!

I am buzy buzy making Easter cards for the shops that carry my cards. Many of you will have already seen Set #1, but I just finished Set #2. I am so excited about them. it is hard to believe that I actually got the images from the dollar store. There was about 8 images to a sheet. They turned out so beautifully!

Enjoy =)

Hello to All!!

Hi! My name is Cindy-Lynn, and I have been papercrafting for over 10 years. Scrapbooking and Stamping has come such a long way over the years, and I have grown so much. I have always loved giving handmade cards and gifts. They are truly priceless. When someone ou's and ah's, or even sheds a tear over a handmade item I created especially for them, there is no greater feeling in the world.

This blog is designed to keep all my followers INSPIRED, informed of my classes, daily musings, current projects and items for sale. There are currently 3 shops in town that currently carry my cards for sale. I will do my very best to get links up for them asap.

Feel free to EMAIL me anytime if you would like to special order a card, invitations, announcements, an item, or anything you may have seen on my site. I will do custom orders, or duplicate any of my past work. I require a minimum of 1 week notice for 1 to 4 cards, 2 weeks notice for 5 - 19 cards and 1 month notice for anything over 20 cards. A single card is $4.00 or 4 for $15.00. All other prices are based on the project.

Feel free to sign up for my email list.
